O, Ano?

Ilusyonado.)

**back to rant**

Napakaraming kayang gawin/bilhin ng perang nakukuha mo bawat dalawang linggo…

1) Comics

(Actually, maganda yung All-Star Superman no?)

Wala pa ring Mario Hoops, kaya pahinga muna siguro?

Tsaka wala pang Wii e. Baka kelangan proceed muna sa No. 5 bago yan…

Ang hirap no?

I demand answers.

New Music Friday

Well, this isn't going to be a regular feature, but I bought two new CDs today.

Bought the second album from Kapatid, along with the (thank God!) debut album of Up dharma Down.

For the Kapatid album, it'll take me a few listens more to get used to it and have a concrete opinion on these songs.

But as for the Up dharma Down album...

BEST. 300. PESO. ALBUM. EVAR.

Man, I can't wait for the next Sound album to top this. Just the kick in the nuts OPM needs.

Big Time

I had nothing to do after work two Fridays back, and rather than waste my time going home early and thinking about burning the remaining cells in my retina, I decided to go catch a movie, one my sister had mentioned to me a few days prior.

Big Time, from Arkeo Films, stars Winston Elizalde and Nor Domingo as Danny and Jonas, two small-time crooks who unintentionally take a leap into the "big time" by kidnapping a mob boss' son (Jamie Wilson) and his artista-wannabe girlfriend Melody (Joanne Miller). Supporting role of note for Michael De Mesa, playing mob boss Don Manolo.

I'm not really a film critic, so I'll just point out a few of the more hilarious parts of this off-the-wall flick:

- Jonas and the Boy Bawang quip;
- twenty questions that included a choice between GMA or Miriam (and not in the electoral sense);
- Danny suddenly kicking the kidnapped dog and killing it;
- the "Silence" sign in Don Manolo's office

It's probable that I may have watched this with better expectations than other local films due to a bit of indie cred being attached to it, but overall the movie did what I believe it intended to do: push independent film to a greater audience. Well, you got me there.

For more info, you can go to the ArkeoFilms site here.

Here's to more offerings from them.

Death To Work #1

I still actually think that there's no point in doing this. I could probably count with the fingers on my left hand the number of people who would think anything of the things I post here.

Guess what?

I don't care.

Welcome. I'll probably be posting about random stuff that I've seen, heard, felt, and crapped on. (Cool, got the dirty words in down pat)

At the very least, entries in this blog (my blog? for shame!) should be senseless, and leading towards copious amounts of indignities being hurled onto me. At its best, it'll be informative and coherent. But I don't really shoot for the stars every god damn time, people, so better get used to reading some generally asinine stuff.

Cheers.
